To help you choose the right product, we’ve answered some of the most common questions our customers ask:
What does E14 mean in LED bulbs?
E14 refers to the fitting size, which is 14mm in diameter. E14 is also known as a Small Edison Screw (SES) fitting. This is smaller than the standard E27 (Edison Screw) fitting, so double-check which one you need before buying. If you do need a different fitting, you can filter our products by cap type to get the right one.
What are E14 LED bulbs used for?
E14 bulbs are often used in decorative light fittings such as chandeliers, wall sconces and smaller lamps where a more compact bulb is needed. They're a great energy-efficient replacement for traditional incandescent or halogen bulbs with the same fitting.
Are E14 LED bulbs dimmable?
Many E14 LED bulbs are dimmable, allowing you to create the right ambience and save even more energy. Just look for the "dimmable" filter when you're browsing our products. Remember to pair dimmable bulbs with compatible dimmer switches for the best results. If you see a product labelled as 'dimmable' it should work fine with most standard dimmer switches.
