IP20 spotlights are designed for indoor use in dry environments. The "IP" stands for "Ingress Protection," and the "20" rating indicates that the fitting is protected against solid objects larger than 12mm (like fingers) but isn't protected against moisture. This makes them perfect for living rooms, bedrooms, hallways, and other dry areas of your home. They're not suitable for bathrooms or kitchens.
Our IP20 spotlights are designed to use GU10 bulbs. These are readily available and easy to replace. We recommend using energy-efficient LED GU10 bulbs, as they offer long lifespans and excellent light output. Be sure to check the wattage limitations of the spotlight fitting to choose the right bulb.
Many of our IP20 spotlights feature adjustable heads, allowing you to direct the light exactly where you need it. This can be really handy for highlighting artwork, creating a focal point, or simply providing task lighting. Look for spotlights described as "rotatable" or "tiltable" if this is an important feature for you.
