The TEKLED J004 18W LED Driver is an isolated electronic transformer engineered to safely step down high-voltage alternating current (AC) mains power into a stable, low-voltage direct current (DC) output supply. It acts as a dedicated external power block that ensures consistent illumination and safeguards connected mid-to-high power fixtures from line fluctuations.
- Constant Current Optimization: Formulated to regulate and deliver a uniform output stream (typically 300mA). This constant regulation matches the forward voltage requirements of the connected light-emitting diodes, eliminating visible flickering and preventing premature chip failure due to overheating.
- Low-Profile Enclosure: Housed inside a highly compact, rectangular, flame-retardant plastic safety casing. Its small footprint allows it to slide easily into standard downlight ceiling cutouts, narrow recessed drywall channels, or furniture partitions.
- Plug-and-Play Connectors: Configured with a two-core bare wire input lead on one end for fast splicing into structural AC mains grids, and an insulated output wire on the other ending in a keyed snap-clip terminal for error-free connection to compatible light engines.
